Another Preview

Um....I love hats.  Please bring hats to your photo sessions.  I have some...but these were over the top cute.  I am hoping their mother donates them to me when she's done with them.  And then Miss M was an absolute pleasure to meet.  She was full of fun and personality.  She and I shared adoption stories.  Turns out both our families were very lucky to get us. 

Mine Favorite

So I had a nephew who used to say "mine favorite" instead of my favorite.  It has become a treasured memory as he has grown into a kind, loving and handsome 12 yearold.  But the C-ism will live on.  Tonight...these are "mine favorite".

This little one would smile as quick as I could start singing "Rubber Ducky...you're the one...".  I never did get the second line of the song.  But he didn't seem to notice.  So cute.

Okay....I will stop now.  But it was very very hard!

Brand New

I have quite a bit in common with this little one.  Not only is she my sister's niece, but this image was taken during her first hour out of the hospital with her adoptive parents.  And yep, I was adopted too.  I hope she carries with her the same special feeling about how she came to be with her family as I always have.  I know it was meant to be...for both of us.  What a tremendous and sacred gift one gives to another family who can't have children of their own.  I was honored to be asked by her wonderful parents to share in and document their joy.  Congrats.
